2011 - It's all about me.

So as you may have figured out I am a giver. I knit for everyone else and I hardly have anything for myself. I am starting to change that and many other things. I have (hopefully) only 2 more weeks left of cleaning my mothers house. That alone is been very draining and I have been really depressed. So I have decided this is the year to take care of myself.

Knitting
I am working on my Rogue.
I need to get another picture, because the body and the hood are finished, I'm working on the sleeves. The problem with this pattern is that the pattern is 19 pages long and this is because the cable work is OUTRAGEOUS! But it also makes this sweater not a good travel project. So I have to sit and move post it notes every line.

I also started on my Drosten Cap by Figheadh yarnworks I call it my Double Knit Celtic Goodness . I of course have to make it harder then it is- I am knitting it double knit so it is WARM! and it will be beautiful and it's taking for ever. If you have never heard of Double knit it is when you knit two sides of a fabric at the same time as you can see in this picture it will make the hat reversible.

Knitting Design
I so love double knit! I first found the hogwarts book scarfs, and loved them fast, challenging, and beautiful. So I had to up the score points I created this book band.

Life
I am trying be good about continuing my education, I just bought a grip of local ecology books, and I just found out about Seattle Tilth. They are awesome. They have landscape consultation service which I am going to have come out and look at my land. I say land because in no way can I call it a garden yet. I also found that the UW has a great class that I'm going to take with a friend of mine. I'm taking
Plant Identification in March, but check out all their classes!

Health
David bought the house an XBox Kinect for Christmas, I'd say it was for me because I asked for it but he is having fun too. I have Dance Central and Your Shape, and it came with Adventure. I've been working out 3 times a week. So my challenge is while in San Diego for the next 2 weeks to keep it up. I've been taking multi vitamins and trying to drink my water.

P.S. I'm sorry about format problems I've worked for about an hour and trust me it's better....
